Short’s Brewery presents Starcut Ciders Octorock – Bellaire, MI

ABV: 6.3% IBUs: N/A

Octorock is a semi-sweet, light bodied cider with delicate fruit and yeast aromas and a hint of spice.  Initial candied apple flavors in this cider provide a generous amount of sweetness that lingers slightly before a relatively clean finish. 

Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier – Freising, Germany

ABV: 5.4% IBUs: 14

This exceptional wheat beer is golden yellow in color and smells of cloves followed by a refreshing banana flavor.  It is brewed according to centuries old tradition by what is considered to be the world’s oldest brewery.

Triptych Brewing Blueberry Blonde Ale – Savoy, IL

ABV: 6.1% IBUs: 5

Toasty malt notes underneath lots of blueberry flavor and finishing in a flurry of refreshing blueberry tartness.

Revolution Brewing A Little Crazy Belgian Style Pale Ale – Chicago, IL

ABV: 6.8% IBUs: 35

Pilsner malt base provides a nice toasty flavor with hints of caramel and enough fermentable sugar to make this a rather substantial beer.  Citra and cascade hops drive home the aromas of fresh citrus rind to make this a very drinkable Belgian American Pale Ale.

Sweetwater Brewing Co. Goin’ Coastal Pineapple IPA – Atlanta, GA

ABV: 6.1% IBUs: 50

The bright aromas of the five citrus hop additions are accentuated by the tropical fruit of the pineapple-and just like those three day weekends, its finish is quick.

Elysian Brewing Co. Space Dust IPA – Seattle, WA

ABV: 8.2% IBUs: 73

The hopping is pure starglow energy in this IPA.  A wonderful combination of Chinook to bitter and late, dry additions of Citra and Amarillo make this high octane IPA very smooth and refreshing.

Ballast Point Brewing Co. Sculpin IPA – San Diego, CA

ABV: 7.0% IBUs: 70

This is the original gold medal winning IPA in all its glory.  The inspired use of hops creates hints of apricot, peach, mango and lemon flavors, but still packs a bit of a sting, just like a Sculpin fish.

Oskar Blues G’Knight Imperial Red IPA – Lyons, CO

ABV: 8.7% IBU: 60

This “Velvet M-80” is a hefty dry hopped double-red ipa with a nose full of aroma, a sticky mouthfeel, a malty middle and unctuous hop flavors.  G’Knight sports a surprisingly sensuous finish for a beer of its size.

Tallgrass Brewing Company Buffalo Sweat Stout – Manhattan, KS

ABV: 5.0 % IBUs: 20

This beer will change your opinion on how a stout should taste.  The cream sweetness of milk sugar is not lost in the brewing process.  It beautifully complements the copious quantities of dark roasted barley to create a medium-bodied beer that is rich complex and delicious with a definitive espresso-chocolate aroma and flavor.
